How Our Commissioner Service Works

Our commissioner service makes setting up and running a fantasy golf league extremely easy. Our system enforces all of your league rules and automates scoring and league standings. Below describes the steps for creating and managing a fantasy golf league. 1. Create Your New Fantasy Golf League

The very first step will be to create your fantasy golf league by walking through our league setup process, where you can configure all of your league settings and rules. Below is a summarized list of the settings that can be configured for a league.

While all leagues can be configured from scratch, we also offer league templates for extra easy setup. When using our league templates, all you need to enter is your league name and your league schedule. If you want to start with a template and adjust settings afterwards, that can be done as well! 2. Invite Your League Members

Once your league has been created, you can invite your league members to join your new fantasy golf league. This can be done by one of the following methods.

  • Send league invitations through the league interface, by providing a list of emails.
  • If you are renewing a league from a previous season, you can import teams from the previous season.
  • You can upload teams and rosters by using our CSV team upload functionality.
  • If you are running a draft league, you can invite your league members to join a live online draft.
  • You can manually create teams and rosters by using the commissioner tools.

3. Select Your Rosters

Once team owners have joined your fantasy golf league, they can then begin to select their rosters. Depending on your league rules, team owners may select new rosters each week, once at the beginning of the season, or possibly set starting lineups each week. Our league interface allows team owners to manage their rosters, while enforcing the roster management rules assigned during the league setup process.

Once rosters are locked, team owners can no longer adjust their rosters and rosters become visible to all teams within the league. Although, commissioners have the ability to modify rosters at any time.

4. Review the League Standings

Our website does all of the work to calculate your league standings, based on your league rules and the scoring settings selected by your commissioner. For upgraded members, we provide live scoring while the tournament is in progress, so you can see your team scores and league standings update in real-time.

Additional Information

League commissioners have full control with special commissioner access. The commissioner of the league has the ability to modify league settings and team rosters at any time throughout the season.

No. You can play in private leagues with a free account as long as the private league has been paid for by the commissioner. You can also play in our free fantasy golf game, where you can win weekly prizes.

Yes! When you create a league that uses the draft format, you have the option to host a live online draft on the website. You will schedule your live draft and invite your league members to join. Team owners can log in early to research and queue up their favorite golfers. The commissioner has special in-draft features to be able to pause the draft, make selections for other owners, and enter keeper selections ahead of the draft.

No. We do not run any contests where we take an entry fee and pay out cash prizes. Our website is a service that allows our users to create, manage, and run their own custom fantasy golf leagues. BuzzFantasyGolf.com does not collect entry fees or pay any league payouts.
